Credentialing Process

 We are so excited for your interest in credentialing with Iris Global Churches. The following is important information to aid in the credentialing process.

• Any person desiring to be credentialed by Iris Global Church may send an email to Info@irisglobalchurches.org or call the office and request an application packet.

• All applications shall be sent to the credentialing office along with signed statement of faith, core values, and all Pastoral references.

• Iris Global School or Harvest School evaluations or references will be requested and added to the application by the credentialing office

• Background checks will be performed on all new applicants. By submitting to a background check, the applicant understands and agrees that the information gathered from this background check may potentially be disclosed to and discussed with the Iris Global Churches Board of Directors and staff, missionaries, volunteers, and/or interns.

• Once all documents are collected, the application will be prepared for review by the Review Committee, and then passed on to the Iris Board for approval.

• Applications will be collected and submitted to the Board of Directors bi-annually.

• All approved applicants will receive a Certificate of Licensure and ID card to carry.

• Suggested donation for application and annual renewals may be submitted online or mailed to the credentialing office. All donations received will be used to help offset the administration costs of Iris Global Churches and fund member care programs. All donations are tax deductible.

• Note that submitting an application does not guarantee approval for credentialing. All applications will be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval. You will be notified of approval upon acceptance of application.


BENEFITS

1. Association with Partners in Harvest, Revival Alliance, Global Celebration, Global Awakening, and Global Legacy.

2. Provides opportunity to work in disaster relief situations, jails, prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, psychiatric centers, and other institutions with limited access.

3. Perform marriages.

4. Provides opportunity for ministry outreach.

5. Opportunities to attend special meetings with like-minded ministers and ministries.

6. Access to apostolic leaders and elders for relationship, council and support.


Levels of Credentialing

Licensed Minister

Part or Full time, actively serving at an Iris location, usually serving in a non-primary leadership role.

Can perform marriages or church-related ceremonies (in accordance with regional and local governmental laws., some may require additional requirements.

IRS does not recognize for tax-purposes if approved by Iris Global Church’s board.

May be revoked.

Allows approved to minister at Iris bases or locations and develop relationship with Iris leadership.

Renewed annually.

Provides accountability.

Ordained Minister

More permanent/full-time serving at an Iris base or location in a leadership role.

Can preform all church related rites/ceremonies. In accordance with regional and local governmental laws.

Iris recognizes for tax-purposes if approved by Iris Global Church’s board.

May be revoked.

Approved people have established relationship with Iris leadership and have demonstrated a history of life experience in ministry.

Renewed annually.

Provides accountability.


Licensed Minister

A Licensed Minister is the acknowledgement of a person who is in part or full time ministry approved by Iris Global Churches.

Requirements of Licensure:

a. Applicant must have attended Harvest School or other approved Iris Global School [1].

b. Applicant must be in agreement with the Statement of Faith of Iris Global Churches.

c. Applicant must share the Iris Global Churches Core Values and be committed to pursuing and instilling those values in their daily Christian walk.

d. Applicant must be currently active or immediately entering into a ministry position (paid or unpaid) of which is more involvement than a weekly church service.

e. Applicant must have served for a minimum of two years in part or full time ministry [2].

f. Applicant must be accountable to a Senior Minister or similar person in full-time ministry other than your spouse.

Application Suggested Donation - $100.00 (One time only. Please submit with application).

Annual Renewal Suggested Donation - $200.00 (Membership is renewable each year by December 31st.).
